We were thrilled to be able to acquire Light from Karma Farms in the summer of 2003. She is a cornerstone of our Colonial Spanish breeding program and is also one of our favorite horses to ride. She has the temperament, conformation, and bloodlines that we have dreamed of. On top of that she has already been proven in the show ring and on the trail.
A daughter of the legendary stallion Choctaw Sun Dance, Light is following in her famous sire's footsteps. In limited showing she is a 4 time AIHR National Champion and a 4 time AIHR Regional Champion (in both the Southwest and Southeast Regions). Light has represented her breed extensively at fairs and expos and events like the HOA Breed Weekend at the world famous Kentucky Horse Park and the famed Augusta Horse and Carriage Parade. Light has also competed successfully in dressage and competitive trail riding. Her personality is very quite, willing and smart. We look forward to many wonderful foals from this exceptional mare.
